Finding great places for childhood adventures in the Hudson Valley

Hudson Valley Mommy and Me Classes

When I first became a stay at home mom of two toddlers the nights were long and the days were longer. We needed structure, routine and commitments just to survive. Having set days and times of classes and places to go certainly helped motivate us out of the house most days and indoor gyms and music classes helped tire out the little ones for some much needed afternoon nap time. Before I even moved back to the area I started scoping out mommy and me classes in the Hudson Valley that would fit our interests and routines. Then I asked friends and family in lieu of birthday and Christmas gifts that year for gift cards and/ or memberships to some of these sanity saving places. We ended up at a nearby Little gym 1x a week, Gymboree 1x a week and a mommy and me playgroup another day. It was a wonderfully structured year.

When I started thinking about the many options for kids’ classes in the Hudson Valley I found that many places, had a parent/child class even if it isn’t their main demographic. So whether you are interested in Yoga, Dance or socializing there is something for you!
